Louie Taniel Dykes, Jr.

Louie T. Dykes, Jr., "L.T.", was born on March 18, 1932. He went to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the age of 91. L.T. enjoyed all sports and the Outdoors. He loved horses and all things western. L.T. was an avid rabbit and bird hunter and he enjoyed his days at Neenah Hill Hunting Club. He loved his church and praising the Lord. 

L.T. was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Dorothy P. Dykes and sister Patricia Fox Carmichael.

Those left to cherish his memory include daughter, Jackie Dykes, sons, Louie T. Dykes, III (Mollie), Micah Dykes (Rochelle), 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many nieces nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral services will be held from Solid Rock Church of God, 11400 Tanner Williams Rd. Mobile, AL 36608, on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 12 noon with visitation from 10 am until service time. Interment will be in St. Edwards Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Pat Sheppard, Ryan Waltman, Todd Dykes, Josh Baxter, Ethan White and Ayden White.
