Mr. Jerry Len Morris, Devoted Husband, Father, Brother, Missionary, and Friend. March 13, 1953 - April 7, 2024

Jerry Len Morris, a pillar of faith, family, and service, passed away peacefully at his home in Chunchula, Alabama, surrounded by loved ones on April 7th, 2024. He was 71 years old.Born on March 13, 1953, in East St. Louis, Illinois, Jerry later called Mountain Home, Arkansas home. Predeceased by his parents, Lem Lorece Morris and Leona Fisher Morris, he leaves behind a cherished legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew him. Jerry's life was deeply devoted to his wife of 45 years, Hyong Ok Morris (Miok), and their two sons, Matthew (Shelly) and Steven (Crystal). He leaves behind eight adored grandchildren, a sister, Linda Sue Dunn, a niece, a nephew, and a loving extended family.

Though Jerry held a bachelor's degree in engineering, his true calling was serving the Lord. A passionate missionary for over four decades, Jerry tirelessly shared the gospel of Jesus Christ across Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, China, and the United States. His infectious zeal for discipleship left an indelible mark on countless lives. Additionally, Jerry authored several Christian books while establishing numerous ministries and churches throughout the world.

Beyond his unwavering faith, Jerry found immense joy in music, worshipping through song while strumming his guitar or bass. He cherished spending time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and creating lasting memories with those he loved. Jerry's life exemplified the words of Matthew 25:21: "His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'"

A memorial service celebrating Jerry's life will be held at Revive Church in Mobile, Alabama on April 26th, 2024, at 6:30 PM. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend. Pastor L.A. Joiner, Jerry's spiritual father, will officiate.
