Yang Yath , 83 

Gained her wings Monday 4-8-24 peacefully in her sleep at her home in Mobile, AL

Yang Yath was a  beloved Grandma, God Mother and God Sister,  to many people who she crosses path with. She is known for her bright smile, hugs and kisses! If you needed a pick me up from a tough day, she’ll lift you up with her kind words. She’s known for traveling to various Cambodian temples in the states doing her diligence. Yang have been through the Khmer Rouge genocide in the 1980 and have loss her husband and 3 sons and many close family and friends during that time. Carrying on her legacy in the United States through her 3 daughters Savonn Yath (resides in California ), Savun Yath (gained her wings 2010) Saveth Yath (gained her wings 2007). She have 4 half-siblings,  18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Daughter: Savonn Yath

Grandchildren: Jannis Sisavath (Rocky Sisavath), Chanda Sisavath (Tony Sisavath), Chanta Mak (Peter Tran), Chandra Le (Jamie Le), Sakhoeuth Khan (Thoulen Im), Sakhorn Khan, Sakhoeum Khan (Tuan Hoang), Saphea Khan, Sakun Khan (Adrian Barragan), Sophin Khan, Savy Yath, Ketsarom Ou ,Jhonny Ou, Jamesarath Ou (Amanda Ou), Arlene Ou(Luan Ou), Gary Ou, Julie Ou (Wanner Gomez), Richard Ou, 

Great Grandchildren: Jannis (Brian Thomas, Bryan Thomas, Byron Thomas, Nalani Sisavath, and Rocky Jr Sisavath), Chanda(Aubrey Sisavath and Raylee Sisavath), Chanta (Ava Tran and Haven Tran), Sakhoeuth (Adiya Im, Alex Im and Maly Im), Sakhorn (Landen Williams, Kaylin Khan, Jayden Khan, Khaneilia Rogers and Dallas Rogers), Sakhoeum Khan (Nathan Hoang, Nolan Hoang, and Noble Hoang), Sakun Khan (Aliyah Barragan Khan), James(Paul Alexander Ou, Samuel Jamesarath Ou, and Abigail Lynn Ou), Julie (Jeremiah Gomez and Patrick Gomez), Jhonny (Jayden Ou and Lillian Ou).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20 from 9 am until 2 pm at Wat Veluvana Temple, 10620 S Angkor Rd. Irvington, AL 36544 followed by a 3 pm cremation service at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory.
