Alexander Collins Jensen Obituary

Alex Collins-Jensen, 32, passed away Thursday July 16, 2026 in his home in Mobile. Born and raised in Mobile, Alex graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School and from McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in 2012. After graduation he attended Auburn University, and then enlisted in the United States Army (4th Army) in 2018, where his specialty was Advanced Defense Early Warning System Operator. He was deployed to Doha, Qatar in support of Operation Spartan Shield, and was awarded the Army Achievement Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He was Honorably Discharged in 2021. After his military service, Alex led a life full of zest and adventure, living in many interesting places including Bozeman Montana, Atlanta Georgia, New Orleans, and Mobile. He was an avid War Eagle fan; he loved live music, stand-up comedy, and had many interesting and close friends from all over the country. Alex is survived by his entire family; his mother and father Linda and Brad (Mobile), and his sisters Karen (Mobile) and Grace (Washington, D.C.). His loving aunts, uncles and cousins are far too numerous to list here but they are all shocked and saddened by the loss of Alex and will miss him forever.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1453 Old Shell Road, Mobile, on Saturday July 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a reception on school grounds starting at 11:00 a.m..
