Alverse "Al" Boyd

Alverse Boyd, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully Monday, May 17, 2021. He was 70 years old. Al enjoyed going to church and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Al is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Boyd; his father, Rev. Defoic Boyd, Sr.; his mother, Mary Alice Colbert Boyd; and his brothers, Louis Boyd, Joseph Colbert Boyd, and Willie G. Boyd. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Al Dewayne Boyd; his daughter, Maria Elaind (Boyd) Blackwell; his brothers, Gerald Boyd and Defoic Boyd, Jr.; his sisters, Alice Williams and Pam Watson; two grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Bayview Park in Pensacola, Florida. Online condolences may be given at www.mobilefhc.com.
