Angela Ruth Byrd

Angela R. Byrd, 61, of Wilmer, Alabama passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. Angie was the oldest daughter of James Harris and Betty Nichols. She grew up in the Mobile, Alabama area spending a large portion of her life in Creola, Alabama. Angie had a huge heart, she was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an EXCELLENT cook who could put a meal together with very little. She loved preparing meals for her family. Anyone that knew her, knew that you were going to eat well when you went to her house. As the best Nanny, she created memories in her home that her grandchildren will always be able to cherish. Her children and grandchildren were lucky to experience the unconditional love that she gave them. Angie will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She is preceded in death by her father, James Harris and husband, Stanley Byrd. She is survived by her children Ashley Anderson, Shawn Flynn, and Shailee Flynn; grandchildren Porscha Beiser, Kai Lane, Kendyl, Brenn, and Bella Anderson, Landon Flynn, Micah and McKenzie Hale, Aerial and Knyssa Cuellar, Brileigh Hayles; mother Betty Nichols; sisters Jamie Caldwell, Pamela Nealson and Sandy Harris; brothers Timothy Myers, James and Robert Harris
