Ann Beauvias Olsen

Mrs. Ann Beauvias Olsen, a resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Mrs. Olsen enjoyed, her childhood sailing at the Mobile Yacht Club, fishing, crabbing, dancing and the holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas and Mardi Gras balls. She retired form Alabama Power Company after fifteen plus years of dedicated service where she met the Love of her life Ed, Sr. and were wed for 60 years. 

She was preceded in death by husband, William Edward "Ed" Olsen, Sr., parents, Ria Tuthill and step father, Edward M Beauvais, andf her paternal father, James. M. Smith, sister, Sandra J. Gordon, and brother, Henry Tuthill Beauvais.

Those left to cherish her memories include, her beloved son, W. Edward "Eddie" Olsen, Jr., her sister's Mary B.Cicchine, Karen Smith Hirsch (Bruce), her niece Melanie E. Hirsch, nephews, Peter J Cicchine, III, Christopher E. Cicchine, Landon LeCroy, Shawn P. Gordon, her great nephew Peter J. Cicchine, IV, and her great niece Allison E. Cicchine,  and a host of friends. 

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. A reception will follow after mass in the fellowship hall. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests  donations be made to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Mrs. Ann Beauvias Olsen's name.
