Anthony "Tony" Glenn Orr, Sr., age 69, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
He was a painter for over 30 years and retired from USA Housing. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his family and friends. He was known for his "breakfast of champions" which consisted of Resse's Peanut Butter Sticks and an unsweet tea.
He was preceded in death by, his parents, Raymond and Lydia Orr, sister, Rita Orr Horton-Oubre, Teresa Myers, and brother, Raymond "Ray" Orr, Jr., and daughter in law, Renata Riddle-Orr.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 46 years, Marsha Dahlem Orr, children, Travis Watson, Anthony "TJ" Orr, Jr., Tracie (Bubba) Gills, grandchildren, Brianna "Honeybear" Orr, Alex Orr, Anthony "AJ" Orr, III, Tyler Gills, Blake Wadsworth, Austin Gills, great grandchildren, Kylie Seaman, Mason Seaman, Zoe Butler, Lakota Gills, McKinley Gills, Lea Snow, Brayson Gills, Colton Gills, Amberlynn Gills, Bradley Gills, Branson Wadsworth, Negan Gills, siblings, Charlotte (Chesley) Sanders, Bruce Orr, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11 am with visitation from 9 am until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
