Barbara Hudson Botter, age 77, a longtime resident of Mobile County passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024. 

She was a 1965 graduate of B.C. Rain High School and attended University of Montevallo and graduated from University of South Alabama with a degree in Art History. She worked many years at the Mobile Press Register in the layout department and then became the office manager at Botter Honda in Pascagoula, MS, a business she co-owned with her husband.

She was preceded in death by parents, J.P. and Faustine Hudson, and brother, Joe Hudson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Eugene "Gene" Botter, daughters, Amy (David) Yoder, Stacie (Bryan) Holder, 3 grandchildren, Eli Yoder, Jase Yoder, and Alexander Holder, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11 am with visitation from 10 am until service time. Interment will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made in her honor to the Ronald McDonald House of Mobile.
