Bonnie S. Markell, age 84, a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024.  Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Voncile Markell.  She is survived by her sister, Beverly Markell Prescott, brother Alan (Dottie) Markell, nieces Kelly (Greg) Hammock, Cindy (Paul) Willis, Kristy (Chad) Allee, nephew Tim Markell, cousins, extended family, and close friends.  

Bonnie began her career with the National Girl Scouts of America.  She then went on to a career with Bank One in Chicago, Illinois until retirement in 2000.  Bonnie will be remembered for her love of reading and travel. A private graveside service will be held in her honor.
