Charles Richard Scoggin

On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, Charles Richard “Ricky” Scoggin passed away in Citronelle, Alabama.

Ricky was born on November 14, 1958, to Claude and Betty (McPherson) Scoggin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty McPherson, and brother, Jerry McPherson.

Ricky is survived by his father and stepmother, Claude and Ruth Scoggin; children, Callie Hill, Chaz Scoggin, and Mandy Scoggin; and his brothers and sisters, Angie Boykin, Denise Cegielski, Richard Scoggin, Carmen Pierce, Danny McPherson, Darren McPherson, Jeffrey Scoggin, Jeramy Scoggin, and Jared Scoggin.

He was a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, where he was employed as a welder. He enjoyed playing guitar and played in many gospel groups.
