We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory
Christopher Leon Clements, 52, gained his wings on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 9:30a.m. at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Mobile, Alabama, on January 12, 1970, to Melvin Clements and Annie Hayes.
As a boy, Chris was very brave and protective. He was a loving, devoted husband and father. He would play like a kid, give advice like a friend, and protect like a bodyguard. Being a God-fearing man and a loyal friend, he would stand by you no matter what. Having a heart of gold and an amazing sense of humor, he was always the life of the party. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed teaching his kids and grandkids to also. He liked to cook as long as everything fit into one pan. He was very well known for his BBQ peanuts. Chris believed that God gives us two gifts every day. One is a choice, and the other is a chance. The choice of a good life and the chance to make it the best life.
Chris is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tanya Clements; nine children, Carrie, Kristin, Kaycie, Karleigh, C.J., Khloe, and Kevin Clements, Nevaeh Brown, and Landon Weaver; four grandchildren, Taylor, Ryleigh and Mason rice, and Jayden Clements; two sisters, Ginger Diemert and Heather Stanley; one brother, Wesley Clements; nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Chris wanted his children to know and never forget, that when the day came that there were no more tomorrows for him, that they were, are and always will be deeply loved by him. He will be missed greatly and will be in our thoughts and hearts daily.
To honor his wishes, Chris will be cremated, and we will not be having any funeral services. Once he is back home with his family, we will have a celebration of life. We will announce the date and time and all details at a later date. Any arrangements, cards etc....can be sent to: 10665 Ridge Crest Dr N, Wilmer, AL 36587.
