Christopher Edward Howard

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Edward Howard, a beloved husband, father, brother, devoted friend, and vibrant spirit, who left us on August 30, 2025 at the age of 59. Born on October 29, 1965, to his parents Charles Edward "Billy Coon" Howard and Ann Ellen Parnell Howard.

Chris was a member of Ironworker Local #798. He was a true lover of music, and his passion for gathering with friends, sharing a few cold beers, and celebrating life's moments- big and small- created countless cherished memories. He also enjoyed spending his time playing with his grandchildren. Those who knew him best will always remember him as a faithful friend, someone who stood by their side through thick and thin. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward "Billy Coon" Howard and Ann Ellen Parnell Howard, children, Kenneth Anisworth, and Cassie Howard, and sister Charlene Howard.

Chris is survived by his wife, Linda Howard, children, James "Chris" Ainsworth, Lacy Howard, Katlin Howard, 6 grandchildren, Dennis Colbert, Austin Ainsworth, Arie Ainsworth, Rosalina Howard, Cohen Howard, Ashlyn Ainsworth, sister, Wendy Brantley (Craig), brother, Grant (Sara) Howard, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11 am in Fairhope Baptist Church Cemetery, 4010 Boyd Willie Parnell Rd. Tibbie, AL 36583. Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Chris are invited to gather and share stories, laughter, and memories, as we come together to honor the extraordinary person he was. 

He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will forever remain a part of us.
