Cole Edward White

Cole Edward White, age 29, was born to  Harold Gene White and Veronica Ann White on July 13, 1995 in Kingsport, TN. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in Mobile, AL  where he lived with his mom and Papaw Mac. Cole grew up in the Bloomingdale community of Kingsport, TN where many in the community would see him and his brothers skateboarding shirtless on Gravely Rd.  He enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, and most other sports. His smaller stature didn't stop him from excelling in sports especially in basketball where you could always rely on him to knock down an open 3-pointer. He was just one of those guys that was good at anything he tried. Cole was a part of the 2013 class of Sullivan North High School. 
Cole is probably mostly remembered by his ability to make friends with people from all walks of life. He had an uncanny ability to make you angry one minute and then have you laughing the next. You just couldn't stay mad at him because he was always authenticly himself. He always went out of his way to make people feel welcome and to constantly check in on his friends and family. His brother Will recalls a story of getting a phone call from Cole while he was pushing a grocery cart down the highway in South Carolina. When asked why, Cole said that he met a family who had children that needed some things and Cole's car was messed up so he walked miles to deliver the items so the children had what they needed. Through all of his struggles, THIS is who Cole was.
Cole leaves to cherish his memories mother, Veronica White of Mobile, AL; father, Harold Gene White of Kingsport, TN; grandfather, Harold McSpadden of Mobile, AL; 3 brothers Kevin and wife Briana of Kingsport, Trey of Kingsport, and Will and wife Alexandra of Lebanon, TN; 3 sons Kaden, Carson, and Elijah; 4 nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and friends that loved him dearly. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 11am to 1pm at Bible Way Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN followed by a memorial service beginning at 1pm.
