Dan was a faithful parishioner with the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Mobile. He served as an usher, loved God and often held conversations with others on the Cathedral steps. After Mass you may have crossed paths with him and his dear friend as they strolled downtown.
He graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He loved the theater and was involved with the Mobile Theaterguild for many years. He was an award-winning director and actor with the Joe Jefferson Players and the Children's Theater to list a few. He will be missed by his fellow Thespians.
Dan also graduated from Spring Hill College with a Master of Arts in Education. His love for the primary grades was endless. His rapport with his students brought him much joy by bringing the arts into the classroom.
He enjoyed quiet evenings with his pets while watching Jeopardy, often answering the final question correctly and proudly making a Facebook post. The Mobile Mardi Gras Parades and Balls was a passion of his and Dan's presence will be greatly missed.
Cherish your memories and hang onto them in your hearts forever
A memorial service will be held at a later date
