David Craig Odom, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022. He was 55 years old.
David enjoyed life to the fullest. He partied hard but worked even harder. He loved the beach; Dauphin Island was very special to him. All his friends and family knew they could rely on him in any situation. David loved his family deeply and was a wonderful father to his daughter. He was also a devoted uncle. David would always have you laughing, his happiness was infectious. He was a bright light in the lives of so many people.
David is preceded in death by his parents, Willard Odom Sr. and Ruby Christine Odom; and his sister, Cheryl Denise Brock.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter and son-in-law, Kayli and James Oberkirch; ex-wife, Traci Odom; older brother, Willard Odom Jr.; and three older sisters, Ola Mae Honeycutt, Peggy Boyette, Shelvy Ray, and their spouses. David had nine nephews and two nieces whom he cherished very much, some of whom loved him like a father. He had so many people that loved him.
His life Tree was planted on Dauphin Island in Indian Shell Mound Park (830 Desoto Dr., Dauphin Island, Al, 36528). For anyone wanting to pay respects.
