Deloras Diana Davis Newton

Deloras Diana Davis Newton, a resident of Saraland, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was 81 years old.

Diana was blessed to have her life engrossed with the gift of faith and enjoyed living her life in praise and worship service to the Lord. She had a heart of gold and touched the lives of everyone who met her. Diana reflected this love through her devotion to her family and enjoyed spending her time RV Camping with her loved ones and was the pillar at family gatherings. She loved to dance and exercised this love through line dancing. Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service. Diana will remain in our hearts and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege to have known her.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Judson Erville Davis and Ida Lucille Mahathy Davis; and brothers, Judson (Sonny) Davis and Charles Davis; and great-grandson, Travis "TJ" Newton. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles Duane Newton; children, Chonda Newton Odom (Chuck), Paige Newton Bragg (Ricky), and Christopher Newton (Brenda); grandchildren, Wes Jordan (Holly), Haley Jordan, Aften Parker (Brandon), Tosha Newton, Hunter Odom, Ellis Newton, and  Avery Newton; great-grandchildren; Chase Jordan, Kendyl Lawshe, Emi Newton, Dakota Newton, Easton Parker, Jake Jordan, and Cade Jordan; siblings, Louise Fendley, Carol Lisenhy, Hollis Davis (Zaleen), Johnny Davis (Ann), Jerry Davis (Susie), Colan Davis (Janice), Dixie Davis Hoven (Billy), and Randy Davis (Martha), and many nieces and nephews.
