Desmond Peter Robertson

Desmond Peter Robertson, December 30, 1985 - July, 31, 2024 known as "Pop, Dezz, and DJ Dezz" Desmond Peter Robertson was born December 30, 1985 in St. Martinville, LA. He resided in Mobile, AL for 27 years. On July 31, 2024 he departed this life to be with his Heavenly Father. A graduate of Satsuma High School in Satsuma, AL, class of 2005. Desmond was a worker and DJ at Rambo's Skateland for over 20+ years.

Desmond known as "Pop, Dezz, and DJ Dezz" was loved by family and many friends. He was known for his kind, loving, and dedicated heart towards others, and was always willing to help. Being a great entertainer and always the life of the party. Oh how he loved to do those Michael Jackson moves! He loved spending most of his time with his 2nd family who he grew so fond of Mr. Kenny Hart his boss and his mother Mrs. Charlotte Hart of Rambo's Skateland in Saraland, AL. Desmond was also an amazing skater/DJ who loved to entertain the crowd and encourage friends. He also loved spending time with his mother Leslie Tinsley, daughter Alieanah Robertson, godsister Ashlyn Lankford, and godbrother Sanchez Norwood, watching movies and singing karaoke. He was a special kind of man and would give you his last even if he didn't know you. He had a great deal of sweetness, kindness, and love.  

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Lawrence Cole Jr. and his grandfather Melton Peter Hypolite. Desmond leaves to cherish his memories his mother Leslie Tinsley of Mobile, AL, and his daughter  Alieanah Nayomi Robertson of Saraland, AL. Also a host of aunts and uncles: Kevin (Tiffany) Hypolite of Texas    Janice (Francis) Eman Henshaw of Texas, Dinitra (Clinton) Rankin of Louisiana, Ericka Hypolite of Texas, Isaiah Hypolite of Louisiana , Also, his loving Grandmother Vivian (Abbie) Trosclair, Great-Grandmother Goldie Nedie Henry of Louisiana, His very loving godmother Mary Cornelius of Texas  A loving godfather Kevin Hypolite of Texas.                

Please join us for a Memorial Benefit on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 5:30 - 8:00pm at Rambo's Skateland in Saraland, AL to celebrate the life of DJ Dezz as the DJ for Skateland for the past 20+ years.
