Donald Eugene Broadus

Donald Eugene Broadus, was born on December 15, 1960 and left his earthly home on February 22, 2026. He was born and still resided in Mobile, Al. He worked a long career for Mobile County and retired March 2025. If you ever passed road construction being done by the county, chances are you would see that bright red hair, a smile and a wave from the one holding the stop/slow traffic sign. He loved bingo and bowling. He was apart of a league called the Lucky Suckers, he was on Port City Pirates team. One thing for sure is Donald was a proud dad and grandfather and loved by so many. 

He is preceded in death by his Father, Johnny B Broadus, mother, Frances Broadus, stepfather, Ray Broadus, brother, Johnny Michael Broadus, significant other, Anita Higgins, Leah Broadus (Jordan’s mom) and brother in law, Joey Foster.

He is survived by his son Jordan Broadus(Rachel), grandson, Noah Broadus, brothers Ricky Broadus, Mark Broadus (Tracy), Terry Broadus, sister, Renee Foster, Aunt, Marie Hammac (Robert), fiancé Lisa Geer and many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, cousins and friends. 

He will be greatly missed and loved until we see him again. 

Celebration of life service will be announced in the near future.
