Donald C McWilliams

Donald C. McWilliams, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away on September 3, 2021 at his home. Don was a 1951 graduate of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis and a 1955 graduate of St. Louis University.  He was a commercial real estate broker with The Mitchell Company for 56 years working up to the time of his death. He was a long time parishioner of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Dylane. He is survived by his four daughters, Kathy (Fred) Killion, Marcia (Ralph) Amos, Patty (Paul) Sonnier, Donna Willemoes, and his son, Mark (Karen) McWilliams and by his fourteen grandchildren, Kelly, Megan (Ted Klein), and Will Killion (fiancé Emily Tarlton), Libby (Todd LaCour), Byron, Todd (Lauren) and Gil Amos, Patrick and Charles Baldwin,  Lane Barger (Cameron), Chelsea (Colin) Sigler, Caylee (Ryan) Summerford, Brooks Willemoes, Jack McWilliams and eight great grandchildren, Mary Kathleen, Lou, Cecilia and Frank Klein,  Lila and Margaux LaCour, Gray Barger and Pete Summerford.  He is also survived by six brothers Tom, Richard, Ed, Ken, Jerry and Joe McWilliams, and three sisters, Pat Lohman, Elizabeth Johangten, and Ellen DuCote, along with many sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Patricia McWilliams, his sister Shirley Mahoney, and his son in law, Pete Willemoes. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church 3704 Spring Hill Ave Mobile, AL 36608 or the charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 10, 2021, at 9:30am until 10:30am in the St. Ignatius Catholic Church parish hall. A private family memorial service will be held later.
