Edward Dewayne Lane, a Native of Mobile, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on April 21, 2021. Edward retired from the Learning Tree of Mobile, where he taught Autistic children and adults sign language and life skills after 23 years of Service. Edward is survived by his Mother, Shirley Lane; his Brother's and Sister's, Bill Lane, Michael Lane, Lenora Mest, Rusty Messer (Peggy), Robert Aubrey Lane, Scott Lane, and Trish Lane Martin; his brother and Sister-in-laws, Michael Charpentier, Barbara Marie Lane, Charles Martin, Tracy Sanford, and Bill Dunn; his nieces and nephews, Dayon Lane, William Mest, Dallas Shaper, Tereasa Mest , Michelle Broadhead, Chip Chapman, Emily Lane, Chris Rosson, Grady Moffett Sr., Darion Aileen Broadhead, Patrick Ward (No Brakes Soamc), Samantha Broadhead, Joseph Medlin, Zoey Fowler, Noah Jenwright, Lane Martin, Destiny Pearl Lane, Robert Lane, Barbara Lane, Ciarra Martinez, JR, Hope, Jordan Charity, Kazzy, Sabrina, and Heather; great nieces and nephew, Anna Grace, LingLing and JoJo; and many other relatives and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his Father, Hardy Lane and his sister's, Kathleen Dunn, Sheryl McWilliams, and Brother Joseph Lane. Special Shout out to his Care-Givers, Jaimie Lisenba and Brenda Messer. Without whom Edward would not have survived his multiple strokes and seizures. Your Love and care for our brother are immeasurable. Celebration of Life Services will be determined at a later date to spread his ashes on the river, his happy place.
