Felix Humberto Lopez

Félix Humberto López, a devoted husband, loving father, and faithful servant of Christ, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama, at the age of 80.

Félix was born on October 23, 1944, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to the late Héctor López Catalán and Carlota López. A Pentecostal, born-again believer, Félix lived a life marked by deep faith, humility, and unwavering love for his Lord and Savior. His dedication to God’s Word and his generous spirit touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen Elizabeth López (née Martínez), with whom he shared a Christ-centered marriage of 39 years. Together, they raised four children:

Félix was a proud and loving grandfather to Félix Spurgeon, Calvin Joel, Olivia Jo, Emma Grace, Eliana Joy, Emmanuel Levi, Rebekah Ruby, and Jireh Roberto.

He is also survived by his brother Julio Enrique López and sister-in-law Georgina de López, and by his sister-in-law Irma de López, widow of his late brother Carlos Horacio López. He was also preceded in death by his sister Cristina López.

Félix’s life was a living testimony of God’s grace and love. He will be remembered for his heartfelt prayers, wise counsel, and the way he faithfully served his family, his church, and his community. His presence was a blessing, and his memory will continue to inspire.

Félix Humberto López, esposo devoto, padre amoroso y fiel siervo de Cristo, partió en paz con el Señor el 12 de septiembre de 2025 en Mobile, Alabama, a la edad de 80 años.

Félix nació el 23 de octubre de 1944 en la Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala, hijo de los fallecidos Héctor López Catalán y Carlota López. Como creyente pentecostal, nacido de nuevo, vivió una vida marcada por su fe profunda, su humildad y su amor inquebrantable por su Señor y Salvador. Su dedicación a la Palabra de Dios y su espíritu generoso dejaron huella en todos los que lo conocieron.

Le sobrevive su amada esposa, Carmen Elizabeth López (de soltera Martínez), con quien compartió un matrimonio centrado en Cristo durante 39 años. Juntos criaron a cuatro hijos:

Fue un abuelo amoroso y orgulloso de Félix Spurgeon, Calvin Joel, Olivia Jo, Emma Grace, Eliana Joy, Emmanuel Levi, Rebekah Ruby y Jireh Roberto.

También le sobreviven su hermano Julio Enrique López y su cuñada Georgina de López, así como su cuñada Irma de López, viuda de su fallecido hermano Carlos Horacio López. También le precedió en la muerte su hermana Cristina López.

La vida de Félix fue un testimonio viviente de la gracia y el amor de Dios. Será recordado por sus oraciones sinceras, su consejo sabio y la manera en que sirvió fielmente a su familia, a su iglesia y a su comunidad. Su presencia fue una bendición, y su memoria seguirá inspirando a muchos.
