Frances Virginia Broadus was born on January 16, 1938, and passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family on April 21, 2023.
Frances is survived by her children, Renee Foster, Terry Broadus, Mark Broadus (Tracie), Donald Broadus (Anita), and Ricky Broadus; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; one brother, Johnny Kelly; sisters-in-law, Marie Hammac (Robert), Voncile Kelly, and Alta Broadus; and many nieces and nephews.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Ray Broadus; her son, Johnny Michael Broadus; her sister, Ina Lambeth (Hilton); her brothers, Fred Kelly and Mitchell Kelly; her parents, Fred and Ruth Kelly; her sister-in-law, Carolyn Kelly; her daughters-in-law, Edith Broadus and Leah Broadus; and her son-in-law, Joseph Foster.
Frances was a great wife, mother, sister, and friend but her greatest accomplishment in life was being a Granny. She loved cooking and made the best grilled cheese. Frances enjoyed watching Alabama football and Atlanta Braves baseball. She will be missed dearly, never forgotten, and forever in our heart.
