Gregory James McDermott

Gregory James McDermott, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. He was 50 years old.

Gregory enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was a lifelong fan of LSU and Pittsburgh Steelers football. He had a deep appreciation and love for music.

Gregory is preceded in death by his father, Patrick McDermott; nephew, Kevin Dunaway; paternal grandmother, Rosemary McDermott; and maternal grandparents, James and Bridgette O’Rourke.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Mary McDermott; daughter, Brittani McDermott; son, Skylor (Brittney) McDermott; grandchildren, Kyleigh, Skylor II, Karslynn, Kierstyn, Ayden and Kaidence McDermott; sisters, Rosemary Dunaway, Caroline (Tyrone) Ivory, and Suzie Stricklin; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
