Herbert Ives Clark, a resident of Theodore, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. He was 70 years old.
Herbert enjoyed watching Alabama football, bowling, spending time with his family, and hanging out with his friends at the Main Event. He was a hard working man with a huge heart that enjoyed delivering milk to his community over the past 40 years.
Herbert is preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen and Freeman Clark; siblings, William Clark, Sheila Clark Lowe, John Clark, and Mary “Theresa” Fowler.
Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted niece and caretaker, Kimberly (Don) Burch; nephews, Timothy Clark, James (Stephanie) Fowler, and William Clark; great nephews, Matthew Quinn Riley-Clark, and Shawn Herbert Ives Clark; great nieces, Eva Burch, Alexis Fowler, Corrine Clark; his little sidekick, Anna Lynne Burch; brother in law, James Fowler, Sr.; close friends, Sarah, Vicky, and Annie; and many other relatives and friends.
He is also survived by his special neighbor, James Thornton, and his Alabama Central Credit Union family, where he was affectionately known as “Uncle Herbie”.
The family would like to think his Springhill Home Health nurses, Christina Nguyen and Tiffany Sprinkle, for all their help and support for the last five months. Also, the ladies at the Mobile Infirmary Cancer Center, including Dr. Brittany Case.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm Wednesday in the chapel. Burial will follow at Wolf Ridge Cemetery.
