James William Griffith

James William Griffith, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was 65 years old.

James enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He was a lifelong lover of animals and Alabama Crimson Tide football.

James is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Stanley Griffith, Sr.; and his mother, Fannie Gray (Morgan) Griffith.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Esther Corinne Gassen; brothers, Ralph Stanley Griffith, Jr. (Michelle), David Thomas Griffith, and John Carson Griffith (Rachel); sister, Bridget Ann Sheffield; children, Christy Lynn Griffith, Jennifer Darleen Griffith, James William Griffith, Jr. (Tonya), and Morgan Avery Griffith; nephews and nieces; and also eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the 3:00pm memorial service Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory.
