James W. Johnston, Jr.

James W. Johnston, Jr., age 82, passed away after a brief illness at a local hospital, surrounded by his family.

James was preceded in death by his father, James W. Johnston, Sr.; mother, Erma Morrow Johnston; sister, Wynelle Boren; and brother-in-law, Ray Boren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years, Judy Johnston; children, Brian and Jeffrey Johnston; granddaughters, Ashley Gibson (Matt) and Kaylee Johnston; great granddaughter, Sutton Gibson; and many other relatives and friends.

He loved being a Shriner and loved helping children. He also loved Mardi Gras.

The family would like to express their gratitude for all the support and prayers. There will be a private service.
