Jean Crain

Wilma Jean Crain, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was 82 years old.

Wilma enjoyed painting, wood carving, sewing, reading, and gardening.

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, James McCauley Crain; father, Maurice Pierre Chauvin; mother, Wilma Lee (May) Chauvin; and brother-in-law, Tiney Guileyardo.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Gretchen (John) Egbert of Helena, MS, Aaron (Lena) Crain of Gautier, MS, John Eric Crain of Mobile, AL, and Angele (Thomas) Neese of Mobile, AL; sister, Ann Guileyardo of Denham Springs, LA; brother, Roger (Ann) Chauvin of Bogalusa, LA; grandchildren, John Micah (Rebekah) Egbert of Brandon, MS, Chelsea Egbert of Mobile, AL, Austin (Amber) Egbert of Helena, MS, Chuck Crain of Bentonville, AR, Alexandria Crain of Dallas, TX, Allison Crain of Tontitown, AR, Hannah Crain of Dallas, TX, John Steven Crain of Fayetteville, AR, Monica (Misty) Poppell of Fairhope, AL, Tyler Pitts of Mobile, AL; and Douglas Chase (Caroline) Pitts of Mobile, AL; great grandchildren, John Weston, Max and Cohen Egbert of Brandon MS, Conner Lancaster of Fairhope, AL; and Kathryn and Tucker Egbert of Helena, MS; and many other relatives and friends.
