Erma Jenelle (Mays) Savage, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was 88 years old. Jenelle was born to the late Elbert J and Mary Frances (Sellers) Mays on March 4, 1933. She married the late Armand Savage on September 1, 1961, in Pascagoula and they moved to Grand Bay, Alabama. Jenelle is survived by her brother, Elbert J (Sonny) Mays, Jr.; daughters, Brenda Diane (Savage) Perkins and Dixie (Dixon) Long (granddaughter); son, Dalton Lee Savage (great grandson); and her grandsons, Robert Ray Harverson, George Michale (Armand) Perkins II, and George Michale (Burl) Perkins III. Jenelle had many titles in her life from bookkeeper to dress shop owner, but the one she cherished the most was being called Mimi. A memorial service will be held for her at a later date.
