Joe W Dearmon

Joe W "JoBo" Dearmon, age 66, a native and longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. 

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Bernadean Dearmon, son, Bo Dearmon, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with numerous other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was also known as the best uncle ever, a role he held with great pride.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Wheeler, father Joe S. Dearmon, and son Paul "Bear" Dearmon. 

Joe was a man who could brighten any room. He was always smiling and quick with a joke, never missing an an opportunity to make someone laugh or put a smile on someone's face. His sense of humor, kindness, and love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

He had a deep love for Alabama football and rock and roll. In his free time Joe enjoyed fishing and golfing- simple pleasures that brought him joy and peace, and memories he cherished with family and friends. 

Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, Joe's laughter, smile, stories, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless memories that will never be forgotten. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 3 pm from the chapel of Mobile Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1 pm until service time.
