Obituary
John Jack Murawski Jr. (KW4YN), a resident of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, with his daughter and son-in-law by his side. He was 76 years old.
John was a prolific collector of “things” who enjoyed visiting the Flea Market and thrift stores. He especially liked talking on his HAM radio and cherished the friends that he made in the HAM community. John was a member of the National Association for Amateur Radio and had Amateur Extra privileges. He was a member of the Mobile Amateur Radio Club and Pensacola Out Cast Radio Net. John was also a Veteran of the US Navy and served for 20 years.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John J. Murawski Sr. and Karleen Murawski Gerdan; brother, Wayne Murawski; sister, Lynbryar Inzero; former spouse, Davie Murawski; and granddaughter, Rebecca Jackson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Army Lieutenant Colonel, Mark Murawski (Erica), Kimberly (Randy) Jackson, and Heather (Mark) Guilford; grandchildren, Harbor, Owen, Matthew, Payton, and Lindsey; grand-pups, Buddy, Cupcakes, and Zelda; brother, Ronald (Donna) Murawski; sister, Karleen Murawski Negron; along with extended family members and friends and amazing neighbors.
