Joseph Lee "Okie" Wilkins, age 35, born July 13, 1988 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was a resident of Grand Bay, Alabama. He passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Okie, was known for his compassion for his family, especially his children, and his love for music. He began his journey playing the guitar at the age of 3. He was also known for his love of building things. It was always, "Oh now, if it's broken, let's fix it!" or Waste Not What Not." Saying he will be missed is beyond fathomable measure! Joseph, is survived by his wife Kristin Michelle Ladnier-Wilkins, and his two daughters Melody Rae' and Harmony Star' Wilkins. His father and mother, Jody Wilkins, Lisa Mealer. Mother-in-law Gina Marie Ladnier. His siblings Sabra Swain, Bo Wilkins, Stormy Vermillion, Orion Wilkins, Jade Wilkins, Feather Wilkins, Jazmine Wilkins. Uncles and Aunts, Jason Mcgee, Joe and Diane Clark. Dean and Misty Wilkins. and his grand- mother Kay McCarty. Cousins, Secret, Brice, Bryant, Breanna, Brooklynn and CJ. and many more. As he would always say "Just keep on smiling, and always remember to have fun".
