Karen Lynn (Hoch) Hall

Karen Hock Hall, age 65, a long time resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at USA Providence Hospital.

Karen was always interested in helping others and started patient care early in life. She worked with her mother helping the Red Cross at large gatherings to assist with persons who needed help. She continued her care for others when she became a registered nurse working primarily with pediatric patients, first at the old Knollwood Hospital and later at Mobile Infirmary. When the opportunity presented itself she left Mobile and went to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at North Shore Hospital in Slidell, LA to help care for the critically ill kids, then eventually back to Mobile Infirmary. 

Karen is survived by her husband, Robert E. Hall, sons, Kyle and Kevin Boyd, stepson, Taylor Hall, step daughter, Raven Hall, sister, Barbara Oliver, brother in law, Butch Oliver, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends left to mourn her loss.

A remembrance of Karen will be held at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 1pm to 3 pm.
