Katherine Mary Chunke

Katherine Mary Chunke, age 61, a resident of Eight Mile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2021. She enjoyed Mardi Gras, Christmas, flamingos, spending time with family, and being a nonni. Katherine is preceded in death by her mother, Celestia Lupica; her father, Charles Lupica; her mother-in-law, Mary Kramer Stewart; and her father-in-law, Claude (Moss) Davis. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 40 years, Mike Chunke; her son, Michael Chunke (Elizabeth); her daughter, Maria Chunke (Sara); an incredibly special grandson, Diesel Chunke; her brothers, Charles and Anthony Lupica; one sister-in-law, Rene Reel (Bill); two brothers-in-law, Thomas Stewart (Donna) and Patrick and his wife; nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews. She will be greatly missed and loved. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Michael's house, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. The family will be speaking at 5:00pm.
