Kathleen Mary Greene

Kathleen Greene, a childhood resident of Bridgeport, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, April 03, 2023. She was 65 years old.

Kathleen lived a prosperous and fulfilling life built on the foundations of love. The cornerstone of this foundation was the deep-rooted love that she had for her family and faith. She showed great reverence in praising the Lord and adored Angels. One of her cherished pastimes was exploring her family history. Kathleen loved living her life in the fast lane and expressed that passion in a multitude of ways ― some of which included camping, RVing, visiting the ocean and beach, roller skating, and traveling. She was also gifted in crafting and beadwork and enjoyed gardening. Kathleen held a special place in the hearts of many that can never be replaced and will always be remembered with great love.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Emma Frank; mother, Joyce Ann Peterson; father, Harold G. Peterson “John”; and brother, Johnny Peterson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Elmer “Jesse” Greene; sister, Faith Montee (George) of Fort Fairfield, ME; brother, Harold G. Peterson “Hal” of Lake Alfred, FL; daughter, Joyce Emily Smith of Cocoa, FL; sons, Walter Vanes lll of Hagerstown, MD, and Brian Vanes of Delaware; and grandchildren, Joseph Wolfe, Blake Vanes, Kalei Vanes, Abigail Vanes, Paige Vanes, and Brian Vanes, Jr.
