Kenneth Kristopher Thompson, lovingly referred to as “Kris” by family and friends, was a resident of Phenix City, Alabama. He was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Kris was a skilled mechanic who really enjoyed working on vehicles and was a huge fan of Alabama football and Nascar. He was an avid lover of the outdoors and fishing.
Kris was preceded in death by his mother and father, Janice Maddox Thompson and William Kenneth Thompson; paternal grandparents, Frank Louis and Sarah Thompson; and his maternal grandparents, Buck and Naoma Maddox.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Kristopher Blake Thompson and William Tyler Locke; his sisters, Shara Draxler (Joe Alexander), and Kenna Scott (Edward Scott); his nephews, James Washburn, Luke Washburn, Edward Eugene “Scotty” Scott, Brandon Scott, Matthew Scott, Jacob Scott, and Zachary Scott; his partner, Jennifer Colwell; and many other relatives and friends. Kris will be forever missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Memorial services to be announced in the near future.
