Lawrence "Larry" Edes Stacey, A native and resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 peacefully with his family at his side. Larry was a member of a Mystic Society, The Knight of Columbus Council #4888 and Holy Name of Jesus Parish. He was an avid Mardi Gras Enthusiast and enjoyed everything Mardi Gras.as well as Alabama Football. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; George and Weida Wardle, his brothers, Robert Stacey, and Woodrow Stacey. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 52 years Sharon Stacey; his children, Lori Anne Stacey and Adam Lawrence Stacey, his sisters; Elizabeth (George) James, Joan (Glenn) Kossow and Susan (John) Sherota. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00am from Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church 2275 Snow Road, Semmes, AL 36575. A luncheon will follow in the Family Life Center.
In Lieu of flowers the Family requests memorials be made in Larry's memory to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church or Sisters of the Visitation Monastery, 2300 Springhill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36607.
