Lea Rae Chambers

April 27, 1947 – August 10, 2026

Lea Rae Chambers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born on April 27, 1947, Lea lived a life marked by love, laughter, faith, and an incredible passion for the people around her. For 58 beautiful years, she shared life and love with her husband, Wayne Chambers. Their marriage was a testament to devotion, partnership, and a love that endured through every season of life.

Lea was an incredible wife and mother. She loved hard, laughed often, and never did anything halfway. She had a way of making people feel loved, welcomed, and important. Her laughter was contagious, her hugs were unforgettable, and her presence made life brighter.

She found her greatest joy in her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne Chambers; her sister, Lynn Harnes; her children, Nicole Chambers and Shawn Chambers (Michele), and her cherished grandchildren, Elise and Khloe, along with 2 foster grandchildren. 

Lea’s love for her family was evident in everything she did. She poured herself into the people she loved and created memories that will be treasured for generations. She was the kind of woman who could make an ordinary moment feel special simply by being there.

Though her family’s hearts are broken by her passing, they find comfort knowing that Lea lived her life fully and loved deeply. Her legacy is not simply in the years she lived, but in the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the lives she touched.

Lea leaves behind a family who will miss her more than words can express, but who will carry her love, her laughter, and her passion for life with them always.

We will be celebrating Lea’s beautiful life with a Celebration of Life Service on Sunday, August 23rd at 3:00 PM at Awaken Church.

We invite everyone who loved Lea to come together, share memories, celebrate the incredible life she lived, and surround our family with love as we honor her memory.
