Levi Cody Leonard Pilkerton

Levi Cody Leonard Pilkerton, graced the earth with his presence on April 28th, 1994. Originally, doctors told his parents that he would not survive the night, but he was able to prove them wrong, and continued to do so until the Lord called him home on October 12th, 2021. He was 27 years young.
Levi, or "Handsome Fella" as his father called him, is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Linda and Leonard Vegliacich; and his paternal grandfather, William "Bill" Pilkerton. He is survived by his loving parents, Lynette Vegliacich and Martin Pilkerton; two beautiful, wonderful children: his son, Hayden Pilkerton, age 8, and his daughter, Melody Pilkerton, age 7; his sister, Tabitha Pilkerton; his neph-son, Oliver Pilkerton, age 6; the mother of his children and best friend, Evamichelle Henry; his devoted girlfriend, Hannah Murrill; paternal grandmother, Linda Fitzpatrick; several aunts and uncles, even more cousins, and an unfathomable amount of friends, many of who became like family.
Levi will always be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and his ability to be an uplifting soul whenever and where ever he was needed. Very quick to offer kind words of encouragement, make lighthearted jokes to change a mood, or even to be an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on, Levi has always been the reliable son, brother, and friend that many people will continue to speak of. 
Levi enjoyed spending time with all of his children, playing his guitar, attending local shows in the band scene, watching crime documentaries and anime, and relishing in the company of everyone he knew. He never spoke bad about anyone, and was always quick to defend them, both in public and in private. As many who know Levi have come to know, he struggled with his own battles, but was always able to ultimately overcome them. He touched to many lives, and he will be eternally missed.
The Vegliacich and Pilkerton families would like to extend their deepest and most sincere appreciation to Dina Stroup and Linda and Dale Swope for their generous offers provided during such a tumultuous serious of events, as well as to everyone who liked, shared, and donated to the GoFundMe page setup for Levi's services. There are no words to express our gratitude.

 Visitation will be on Monday October 18, 2021 from 12noon to 2:00pm at Mobile Funeral Home and Crematory 690 Zeigler Circle West Mobile, AL 36608.  A chapel service will be at 2:00pm, interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
