Lewis Forrest Butler III

Lewis Forrest Butler III, a resident of Orange Beach, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, May 03, 2023. He was 79 years old.

Forrest, as he was known by family and friends, retired from CSX railroad at the age of 62. Forrest loved living at the beach and traveling around the world. Above all, he most cherished spending time with his children, Sasha Butler and Lewis Butler IV. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he cherished the most. Forever loved, never forgotten.

Lewis is preceded in death by his father, Lewis F. Butler, Jr.; mother, Mary Elizabeth Hardin; sister, Margaret Evridge; and brother, Greer Butler, Sr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Sasha M. Butler; son, Lewis F. Butler IV (Lew); nieces, Shannon Evridge and Heather Northcutt; and nephew, Greer Butler, Jr.; and various family and friends. 

Mr. Butlers family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and kindness shown during this time.
