Lewis Neil Hudgens, affectionately known as “Big Lew” by his friends, passed away unexpectedly while honeymooning in Big Sky, Montana with his wife Catherine, whom he dearly loved. Lew was born October 30, 1961 in Montgomery, Alabama to Albert Neil Hudgens and Bettie Warren Hudgens. He was a graduate of University Military School and Spring Hill College. Lew will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Lew was preceded in death by his mother and father, Bettie Warren and Albert Neil Hudgens. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Catharine Jernigan Hudgens; his son, Jackson Neil Hudgens; his daughters, Ellie Burch, Catie Burch, and Bella Burch; his sister, Margaret Hudgens Ferguson; and his nephew, Warren Andrew Ferguson.
