Linda Lichtner Lee was born October 13, 1939, in Zanesville, Ohio. She departed this world on September 27, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama. Linda is the daughter of Frederick and Margaret Porter Lichner, and was born weighing a whopping 11 pounds and 13 ounces. She was married to Orlin Carroll (Kern) Lee. They moved to Mobile, Alabama, for her husbands work. They were the parents of three children, Jay Alan Lee, Kelly Ann (Douglas) Walley, and Joseph Alan Lee.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jay Alan Lee; and three brothers, Jerry Leon Lichtner, Frederick Eugene Lichtner, and Charles Edward Lichtner.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter and son-in-law (who she loved like a son), Kelly and Douglas Walley; son, Joseph; and two sisters, Dolores (Sis) Roberts and Deborah (Kevin) Deal.
Of all of her family, Linda was the most family oriented. She cared for many people, including our grandmother, aunt, and numerous people in Alabama. Even though Linda was a thousand miles away, she talked to family and friends daily. She never met a stranger. Linda will be dearly missed.
Per her wishes, there will be no service.
