Lois Corley Hamblin

Lois Corley Hamblin, passwd away on Monday, February 17, 2025, surrounded by family. She was 84 years old. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Joe Hamblin, parents, Newton and Ada Corley, siblings, Smokey, Benny, Fred, Etta Mae, Virginia, Harold, Perry, Irvin, Eva and Sue.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, 5 children, Teresa (Gary) Holderfield, Randy (Dena) Hamblin, Cheryl (Charlie) Gatwood, Rick Hamblin, and Angela (Steve) Desormeaux, 7 grandchildren, Shannon (Jason) Brown, Eric Holderfield, Shane (Sylvia) Hamblin, Aaron (Brittany) Hamblin, Jessica (AW) Faris, Tory Phillips, Katherine Phillips (Justin), 14 great grandchildren, sister, Marilyn Smith, other relatives and many friends. 

She was the strongest, most caring selfless woman we have ever known. She was proud of each one of us. We all knew she loved us deeply as we did her. She meant so much to so many. Our loss echoes. We invite anyone who wishes to celebrate her life and cherish the imprint she left behind to join us for her memorial service on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2 pm from Greater Vision Worship Center, 6211 MS 613 Lucedale, MS 39452. In lieu of flowers we ask please make donations in her name to her favorite charities, St. Jude or Shriners Hospital for Children.
