Loretta Porter

Loretta Porter, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. She was 88 years old.

Loretta is preceded in death by her father, Louie Coe Doby; mother, Nellie Bertha (Doby) Myers; brothers, Grover, Don, Earl, Ted, and Ned; sister, Judy; and her son, Floyed “Bobby” James, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Grace Myers and Ruby (Eddie) Bingham; daughters, Vannie (Liz) James, and Nellie Baker; sons, Pete Porter, John Porter, Jr., and Louie (Angela) Porter; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
