Lynn Luther Black, was born in Princeton, NJ on August 11, 1961. She died as a result of a serious medical emergency at Providence Hospital on Friday, August 8, 2025, three days before what would have been her 64th birthday.
Lynn and her husband William R. Black moved to Theodore in 2017 after they both retired from Princeton University Library. She had lived most of her life in Plainsboro, NJ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Gladys Luther, and her brother, Lenny. She is survived by her husband, 5 children, Kaitlyn Garrick (Brett), Kelly Baugher, Billy Baugher, Charlie Black, Robert Black, grandsons, Freddy and Luther, sisters, Laura Luck (Steve), Lois Wetterling (Jack), many other family members and friends.
She had been a valued employee of Princeton University for more than 35 years.
She excelled in crafts as much as her work, was a lover of all things Disney, and was the best mother her children could have possible wished for.
In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made in her name to either Dance Without Limits, or Coastal Alabama Down Syndrome Society
