Margaret Lucille Sullivan Hardeman, Born on December 10, 1948 in Chatom, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL gained her wings departing this life on Thursday, April 11, 2024.


Margaret loved her family and the Lord. Her hobbies included gardening, dancing, playing cards, singing country music, and spending time with her grandchildren, riding four wheelers, fishing, camping, hunting, and playing games. She was an avid Alabama Football fan. Her main and most treasured job was being a housewife and mother to her children. 


She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, James B. Hardeman, parents, Edward and Virgie Sullivan, infant brother and step mother, Lois Sullivan. 


She is survived by her loving children, Terrie (Mark) Nelson of Saraland, AL James (Gwen) Hardeman of Mobile, AL, Tammy Jones of Satsuma, AL, George (Jackie) Hardeman of McIntosh, AL, and Ernie (Lisa) Hardeman of Mobile, AL, Bubba (Ashley) Dunnam of Mobile, AL sisters, Eunice Eubanks, JoAnn Adams, brother, James Buddy Sullivan, Mary Alice Sullivan and Betty Sullivan Head of Semmes, AL.


We would like to give a special thank you to her nurse Tori Jenkins McDonald, RN, Michael Reeves, RN and social worker Camille Weatherby, BSW, and special best friend and sister of over 58 years, Lydia Hardeman. 


Margaret also leaves behind to cherish her memory 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. At Margaret's request there will be no formal ceremony only immediate family with interment at Hawthorn Cemetery at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Animal Rescue Foundation, 6140 Rangeline Rd. Mobile, AL 36605
