Marion Smith Leach

Ms. Marion Louise Smith Leach, a native of Illinois, and a resident of Mobile, AL for 60 years, died on Saturday January 7, 2023 at age 96. Mrs. Leach retired from the USA College of Medicine as a Grants Management Specialist, and previously had worked at the First National Bank and served as President of the local AIB. She was preceded in death by her parents Carr Jessup and Mary Louise Smith and brothers Jean Smith and Carr E. Smith and her son Michael Onstott. She is survived her children: Marie Hatton, Julia McGee, Edward (Donna) Leach, Sarah (Walt) Stubblefield, Daniel (Lori) Richman and Joan Phillips, 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 12:00pm from Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time.
