Matthew Leland Strickler

Matthew Leland Strickler, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023. He was 50 years old.

Matt loved Alabama football, baseball, NASCAR, fishing, and riding his motorbike. He also enjoyed tinkering on vehicles and camping.

Matt is preceded in death by his father, Carl F. Strickler; mother, Geraldine Strickler; sisters, Tonya Dempster and Petrina Strickler; and his best friends, Bradley Tuberville and Ben McLeod.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Tamara (Allen) Jones of Semmes, Alabama; nieces, Kristen Dempster, Melicia Dempster, Larissa Alonzo, and Brittany Jones; nephew, Anthony Jones; best friends, Chris and Michelle Graham; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
