Maxine (Wallace) Bailey

Maxine Wallace Bailey, born on August 5, 1939, and has been a resident of Grand Bay, Alabama for over 50 years. Maxine passed away at the age of 85 years and went to Heaven to be with our Lord on Staurday, November 9, 2024.

Maxine graduated in 1957 from Bibb Graves High School in Millerville, Alabama. She carried a license and taught Cosmetology for many many years in Mississippi.

She was very loved by a lot of people. She loved her family and all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Bailey, parents, Barton and Inez Wallce, siblings, Edwin Wallace, Arnold Wallce, Dennis Wallace, Mavine Smith. 

She is survived by her children, John R. "Buddy" Jones, Wayne Wallace (Leticia) Jones, Wynette (William) Sullivan, Paul Allen (April) Bailey, 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren with 2 on the way, and 1 great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM from The Cowboy Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardnes. 

Pallbearers will be Trace Sullivan, Bryce Sullivan, Mason Sullivan, Jayden James, Shaun Jones, and Wayne Jones, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Bailey, Camron Bailey, Seth Bailey and Caleb Bailey.
