Ms. Doris L Fore

Ms. Doris L. Fore. Passed away in Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday July 22, 2025 at Froedtert Hospital, surrounded by her beloved son and family. A woman of strong faith, she entered eternal rest with the love of those dearest to her and the grace of God.

Born on February 9, 1960, in Mobile, Alabama, Doris was the daughter of the late Nonie Mae Fore Curry and the late Will Parker. She is preceded in death by siblings Aaron Fore, Shirley Parker, Helen Fore, Willie Earl Fore, John Earl Fore, and Debra Tanner.

In 1977, Doris met Toni Traywick, and together they welcomed their son, Shawn Fore, on January 18, 1978. Shortly after, she moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan, before settling in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she worked for many years at The Jewish Home nursing facility.

Baptized on February 2, 1986, Doris was a devoted Christian who lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and deep love for her family. She enjoyed shopping, reading her Bible, and sharing laughter with those around her.

She is survived by her son Shawn Fore; grandchildren Aye Flowers, Asha Flowers, Taigiana Fore, Raniyah Brown, Ricky Brown, Ahshawn Weary, and Armani Nichols; her great grandchildren: Alaye Flowers, Nevaeh Word, King Houston, Lil Shawn Weary; and siblings Gladys Gilmore, Mary Lee, Latoney Robertson, and Terry Fore.

Doris will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be Saturday August 9, 2025 from 10:00am to 12noon with Funeral Services starting at 12:00pm at the Sure Word Temple of God. Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
